REASONS - WHY PARTIES FAIL? AND HOW TO AVOID THEM?

Whenever we organize a party, the organizers or hosts try to make their party a big hit. But even after so much planning and hard work, it has been seen that some of the party remained unsuccessful and failed.

Through this article, let us try to understand the main reasons behind the failure of such parties and how can we avoid them.

  • Guests following the host

Parties can be stressful social events for some people. Often, people who come to a party do not know everyone. Sometimes guests may stick to the host; this creates a flow where the party's energy follows whatever the host does, so if the host is not on the ground, neither are the guests. As a host, make sure you check that this is not the case and that everyone is having a good time without you.

  • Giving reasons for leaving the party room

Even the best organizer makes this mistake without realizing it; they give guests not the reasons for leaving the party altogether, but the reasons for not being in the main room where the guests are; this takes all sorts of forms: setting up a bar outside the dance floor, not having enough seating in the event room, serving desert in the hallway, setting up photo booths in the hall, etc. If you want to keep the energy flowing in your event, keep all the energy in the room.

  • Wrong music

The most important thing in hiring a DJ is to sign a DJ performance contract with the right DJ. Not every DJ knows the music everyone wants to hear; this goes the other way too; when the host organizes the night music, he needs to make sure that the crowd will sing the music he chooses. Be sure to contact your DJ for event music so that both sides bring out what is needed for your crowd to move on.

  • Wrong crowd

Some guests are going to dance, and some are not. It is experienced that some of the crowds who are ready to dance are the ones who share the same thread (they all went to the same school, they are all direct friends of the host, they are all in the same retreat, etc.). That's not to say that's the only thing to consider, but make sure you avoid gathering a crowd where there's bound to be a lot of social anxiety.

  • Schedule

For now, this should be the easiest pitfall to avoid in this list. When planning a party, make sure you have the correct time for the party. It takes time for guests to work up to dance. It is observed that when the dance time fills at the end of the event tail, and while the crowd is working on the dance, significantly less time is left. Not only should there be enough time set aside, but be careful not to give your audience an excuse to leave before the party is over (the last shuttle leaves early, the party falls on work nights, parking limits, etc.).
